Las Vegas is known as “Sin City,” and the “City Without Clocks” due to its 24-7 activity. “The Strip,” with 51 casinos, thousands of hotel rooms, and compelling, star-studded stage shows, attracts tens of millions of tourists annually. Downtown Las Vegas, a 10-minute drive north of The Strip, also has its own share of casinos and moderately-priced hotels and motels.
But Vegas offers so much more than ringing slot machines, neon lights and Blackjack dealers. Visit downtown’s Fremont Street Experience to listen to free live music and to watch the breathtaking nightly Viva Vision light shows. Also available here is SlotZilla: a high-octane zipline experience. Even Vegas’s museums are over the top. Check out the Mob Museum, Hollywood Cars Museum, Pinball Hall of Fame, or the National Atomic Testing Museum. Want to commune with nature? Visit the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve, Clark County Wetlands Park and Nature Center, or the Springs Preserve. And yes, the Hoover Dam is every bit as spectacular as you might have heard.
Whatever your choice, Spirit Airlines can whisk you from Dallas to Las Vegas faster than you can say “jackpot!”
